How to edit a pin
Need to make a change to an existing pin? Whether it is updating a description, adjusting the location or correcting a detail, the FireArrest app makes it easy to keep your pins accurate. This guide will show you how to edit a pin so you records stay clear, correct and up to date.

Steps to editing a pin
- Log into the FireArrest app.
- Select Clients.
- Select the desired client.
- Select the desired project.
- Select the desired drawing.
- Press and hold on the desired pin.
- Select Edit.
- Edit the desired areas.
- Select Save.
Now your pin will be up to date with all the relevant information required.
Steps to Moving a pin
- Log into the FireArrest app.
- Select Clients.
- Select the desired client.
- Select the desired project.
- Select the desired drawing.
- Press and hold on the desired pin.
- Select Move.
- Drag the pin to the desired location.
- Select Yes.
Now your pin will be in the correct location on your drawing plan.
Steps to duplicating a pin
- Log into the FireArrest app.
- Select Clients.
- Select the desired client.
- Select the desired project.
- Select the desired drawing.
- Press and hold on the desired pin.
- Select Duplicate.
- (Optional) Select Location Description.
- (Optional) Select Notes.
- (Optional) Select Forms.
- (Optional) Select Materials.
- Select Choose Pin Location and Proceed.
- Drag Pin to the desired location.
- Select Yes.
- Select Save.
Your duplicated pin will now be visible on your drawing in the correct location with the correct number.
