How to Create a Project
Projects are the foundation of how work is organised in FireArrest. Creating a project allows you to assign operatives, link forms, upload installation guides, and track progress across a specific site or job. This guide will walk you through the steps to create a new project and set it up correctly from the start

Steps to creating a project
- On the admin centre, select Clients/projects
- Select projects
- Select add project in the top right corner
- Now select a Client Name from the dropdown menu
If you do not have any clients added onto your FireArrest system then please refer to the How to create client document.
5. An automatic Project Number will be assigned to the project
6. Input an Internal Company Project Number if applicable
This is not a mandatory field and can be left blank

7. Input the Site Name.
8. Select the operatives you would like to have access to this project.
9. Search the address of the site. This can be done by inputting the site’s postcode.
10. If it has not automatically been filled, please input the Line 1,2,3 and 4 of the address.
11. Input the desired range for the Site’s geofence.
If you are unsure of what a geofence is please refer to the document ‘Geofence, what is it and how does it work?’
12. Select the relevant installation Guides for the project
This is not a mandatory field and can be left blank
13. Now select which type of Pin numbering mode you would like to use.

14. Upload Method Statement

Must be in PDF format.
15. Upload Universal Risk Assessment Document.
An individual risk assessment document can be assigned during the upload of a drawing plan. If you are unsure on how to upload a drawing, please refer to ‘how to upload a drawing plan’.
16. Select Save.
You project will now be created. The next step is to upload the drawing plans to the project so that the operatives have something to work on. Learn more… ‘how to upload a drawing plan’
