What is it?

A Geozone creates a virtual boundary around a physical location that only allows specific traffic and data within that location.

This relates to FireArrest as a Geozone can be created around a project location which ensures that the work the operatives are doing onsite is being done on site.

The Geozone can also be referred to as a Geofence or Geofencing. These are the same piece of technology and work in the same manner.

How does it work?

The Geozone on the FireArrest systems works by using the GPS signal on the operative’s phone while they are onsite. This GPS location is sent to our system and is then checked against the location provided for the project and the Geozone boundary set.

If the operative is deemed to be inside of the Geozone then the relevant project will be shown on their device.

If they are not inside of the Geozone then the project will not show.
