Emails – Desktop

The email function allows operatives to report issues or raise queries directly from the FireArrest mobile app. These messages are sent to the administrator team via the dashboard, helping ensure quick communication between site and office. This guide explains how administrators can view and manage to emails sent through the system.

Accessing the Email Area
  1. Head to the Admin Centre and select admin.
  2. From here select the email area.
  3. You will now be presented with all the emails that. your operatives have sent.
  4. There is also the ability to view all the emails that you have sent.
Viewing an Email
  1. When in the email area, select the view icon in the action area.
  2. You will now be presented with lots of information so let’s break it down.
    1. Ability to see the client the operative is working on.
    2. Ability to see the Project Code they are working on.
    3. Ability to see the Drawing they are working on.
    4. Ability to see the Project Name they are working on.
    5. It will then give you the pin, location description, any notes on the pin and any photos assigned to that pin.

Sending an Emal

Once you have received an email from an operative, you can then send this email onto whom ever you like.

  1. In the email area, select the send button in the action area.
  2. Add the relevant email address into the ‘To email’ area.
  3. Edit the Subject if applicable.
  4. Edit the body of the email if applicable.
  5. Select send.

This will now be visible in the Sent Emails tab in the email area.
